Our longstanding client runs multiple, very successful, Tech events across the year. Faced with the COVID lockdown bringing a halt to live events, they were looking for a means to maintain momentum for their sponsors and the audience whilst we developed more formal online event plans. As a thank you to sponsors, we created a series of more than 20 mini-webinars across a two-week period before the summer holidays, each webinar led by a sponsor.
Our video editor conducted remote one-hour briefing / recording sessions with each individual sponsor, giving hints, tips and guidance on presenting to camera and how to use the tech involved. It’s fair to say that some found presenting to camera easier than others! The format for each webinar was a recorded 15-minute presentation followed by a live Q&A.
The series proved extremely popular with audiences pleased to see interesting and relevant webinars on a wide range of tech subjects, viewing from the comfort of their home or office; and sponsors were delighted with the opportunity to engage with them. In the meantime, a robust plan for delivery of our client’s Q3 / 4 events’ schedule online delivery is in place
Evolution says: A short run of sponsored ‘mini-events’ is a very good & cost-effective way to maintain momentum & continue engagement with members, clients and prospects. It allows you to deliver multiple messages, across different topics & potentially different time zones. All in all, this was a fantastic project that returned great ROI for the client by way of audience numbers, engagement & brand awareness.
