Catalunya region is located in North Eastern Spain, stretching from the picturesque Pyrenees Mountains on the French / Andorra borders in the North, down to the Medieval splendour of Tarragona and the Penedes wine growing region in the South. Renowned for its lively Costa Brava beach resorts, Catalunya’s pulsating core is the beautiful gothic city of Barcelona. It’s fair to say that the majority of us may well have visited Barça, but how many of us have explored beyond that fantastic city?

Tips for Attracting and Retaining Top Talent

According to the latest figures from the Office for National Statistics, the employment rate for people aged 16 to 64 now stands at 74.6%, the joint highest level since comparable records began.

Interestingly however, further reports also show there were a record-breaking number of job vacancies for January to March 2017. The total of 767,000 vacancies was the highest number since comparable records began in 2001 and 16,000 more than in the preceding three-month period.

Gumtree’s London Party

At Evolution, we love a challenge, and this was no different for our recent event for our newest client, Gumtree. Organising a post-staff conference dinner and party for 150 delegates, we were tasked with venue finding, event management, production support and sourcing entertainment.

Held at the end of January, the fun took place at Landing Forty Two, London’s highest dedicated event space on the 42nd floor of “The Cheese Grater”, offering panoramic views across the Thames and the City skyline.

Milton Keynes celebrates launch of MKBAA 2017

Gearing up for its fourth year, Evolution is delighted to have celebrated the launch of the Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards 2017 on the evening of Tuesday 6th September.

Having started back in 2014, Evolution co-founded the Awards alongside MKBLP and Interdirect, and play a pivotal role in the event today, assisting with initial entries, the promotional process and especially on the night itself, dressing the room, running the stage show and providing all of the AV and staging. Hiring a turtle for your event

You may not believe it judging by the great British weather, but summer 2016 is almost here, bringing with it festivals, fetes, parties and a hive of outdoor entertainment.

Having been involved in many events from circus themed parties to large formal dinners, we know how difficult it can be to find a space suitable for all your needs – not forgetting, offering a roof overhead for unpredictable English showers.

In the form of a turtle (the stage kind, not the reptile), the fully contained space is perfect for smaller events, festivals and parties, providing plenty of protection for your stage performers from nasty sunburn, or worse, rain. It is even possible to join two turtles together, making a temporary indoor space suitable for a formal dinner of around 120 people. All we need is some flat ground.
